Joe Sofet, President (CBI), has been with the
company for over 28 years and continues as an active dealmaker and
managing broker. He is a
court-experienced expert witness, has prepared a multitude of business
evaluations for all purposes, and is a licensed real estate broker.
He has also owned all or part of 20+ businesses in the last 35
years and understands small business operations and ownership issues
completely. Joe has personally
been involved with the successful brokering of the purchase and sale of
approximately 1,000 businesses. Joe
lectures on the subject of business valuations and transaction
consummation at colleges and for various clubs and organizations.
Joe has been a director or officer of the Georgia Association of
Business Brokers in the past several years.
Joe is currently licensed in four (4) southeastern states (

) and plans on adding

and
Florida
to the areas he covers by the end of the year.

Carol McClone started her career at PBI
in 1999 as the Office Manager, overseeing all aspects of office
administration and business transfers.
Carol will be happy to assist you in understanding the processes
involved in the transfer of businesses, commercial property, residential
properties, raw land, etc. She
is responsible for packaging loans, explaining to customers the lending
process, assisting with any licensing involved in the transfer, as well as
addressing any concerns associated with the transaction being considered.
She also assists Sellers with the termination of any liens that
show up during the title and lien search.

Sofet-Rappaport. Prior to starting a career with Prime Business
Investments, Inc.,
Lynn, at the age of 19, owned a seafood restaurant.
She handled everything from back of the house operations to front
of the house operations. She
also handled all of the marketing and advertising for the business.
Soon after the restaurant was sold
Lynn
became a consultant with a major international restaurant franchise; she
developed and implemented successful sales promotions and marketing
strategies for unique international and domestic markets.
She oversaw the development and openings of various stores in
Singapore
,
Australia
,
Canada
, and all over the
U.S.
She understands all aspects
of a restaurant opening from building specs to training franchise owners
and staff on POS systems. At
age 25 she accepted a great job with a major telecommunications company as
a senior auditor and worked her way to Senior Financial Analyst.
She managed major accounts billing over 30 million dollars
annually. Then she moved into
a position as an account sales consultant where she was responsible for
the overall account management for Verizon Wireless and sold a suite of
wholesale products including data, voice, and toll-free.
Lynn
joined PBI 2 years ago with the goal of one day taking over the family
business.
Lynn
has been involved in various family-owned businesses throughout her life.
She understands what it takes to own, operate and one day, sell a
business at a substantial profit while also limiting your tax
consequences.

with over 40 years of leadership and business management experience.
In addition to having been an associate broker with PBI since 1992,
Jim has also been active with his own firm, Business Evaluation &
Appraisal, Inc., in
Florida
since 2003. He has been an officer/director of both the Georgia
Association of Business Brokers (Lifetime Million Dollar Club member) and
the North Florida District of the Business Brokers of Florida.
Jim is now primarily focused on business consulting, evaluations,
and valuations. He is a member

business background in marketing and operations, logistics, and retail
site development, he has been a small business owner (3 times) as well as
a vice president for operations of the international division of a

Carr, CPA, CMEA, CBC, SBA. Bradford's background
prior to becoming a Business Intermediary consists of five plus years of
public accounting followed by eleven years of mortgage banking experience.
In 1994, he entered the Business Intermediary field. He
specializes in mid market transactions commonly referred to as mergers and
acquisitions.
Bradford
primarily works with manufacturing, distribution and service entities.
In 2001, he obtained his CMEA (Certified Machinery and Equipment
Appraiser) designation. He is a former Vice President and Treasurer
of the Georgia Association of Business Brokers (GABB) and has been awarded

Chugh. Partap has a
degree in Mechanical Engineering and has worked in US as an
Industrial Engineer for 20 years. His
last 12 years were with AT&T Fiber Optics.
He has owned several businesses himself and has hands on experience .He

has been associated with the company since 1999.
As an assistant to the agents, she gained experience dealing with

McLanahan has been in the financial services business for over 30
years. During that time, he owned and operated 2 successful
businesses. He assisted in
the sale of a $6MM business that is today listed on the NYSE. Ellery grew up in the northeast where he graduated from
college, served in the USMC, and after training on Wall Street, started
working for a southeastern brokerage firm, Equitable Securities and in
investment banker for a large number of southern companies such as Holiday
Inns and Martha White Foods. He
